My name is Catarina, but Kit or Cat are easier to say without putting too much effort into speaking, so those work too. :)Although I have a full-time job, I do not want it to stop me being an artist or creating. So that is what I am doing: I am not letting capitalism win this time. (while still paying my bills)I am very much a type A person, so I have every hour of the next month planned to make sure I can create as much as possible, with enough breaks to cook, clean, spend time with my friends, move enough not to die, and sleep.
I definitely recommend you do that too if you are creatively active. Do not burn out; we need creative people, especially now, with the rise of AI (derogatory).
what motivates me:
It's fun to create; don't let tech bros convince you otherwise.
Art is about the process, about the emotion, about the soul poured into it.
I firmly believe everyone is an artist; you just have to find what works for you.

A few facts:
I studied to become an art teacher, but quit after two years. It was fun, but I became very demotivated during the whole AI uprising and the way it stripped the soul from everything I loved. I don’t let that influence me any more. I’m better than AI, and so are you.
I recently started properly writing my own stories instead of keeping them caged inside my little brain, together with my lovely girlfriend, who is a voracious reader. I, however, prefer to be read to, so if you ask me (and even if you don't), it is a good combination.
I’ve been drawing for a long time and have been actively taking commissions for about two years, with a few breaks in between when life got in the way.
I’ve been writing my own songs for a good part of my life, and I am currently learning how to produce. It’s a work in progress, and it’s really fun.
Art is my fifth language, right alongside Portuguese, English, German and Spanish (and a bit of French, if I don’t mind embarrassing myself on that particular day).
I am a forever Dungeon Master, and my greatest accomplishment is making my players cry for about ten sessions in a row. I love feeding on their emotions to make sure I can keep growing.

Welcome to book.
With this, I feel I have truly fulfilled my life’s goal. Life, Death and the Void has everything I would want from a book, so my girlfriend Esther and I decided to write it ourselves.It deals with heavy topics that are closely tied to the real world, so here’s a heads-up. If you happen to be a woman or fem-aligned person, queer or an immigrant like me, you are very likely to relate to most of what happens in this novel.It also contains a lot of fantasy because I love everything to do with pen and paper and world-building. Although the world-building took a while to develop, writing the first draft of the first book took us around four months. We were completely locked in. It certainly helped that our friends would cry and squeal on calls every time they got to read a new chapter like weekly updates of their favourite show. Except it was our friends, and they psychoanalysed the hell out of our characters. (Fuck yeah.)
Life, Death and the Void: The Heart
"Hanxi’s last memory was of her own death. Until she awoke in a cold, damp, shadowy stone temple. Towering over her, with a wide, vacant grin, stood a human woman.
When Hanxi learned that this woman had resurrected her, transforming her into something neither truly living nor dead, rage consumed her. She swore to force the woman to help her die again. Properly, as her people’s goddess, Mother Death, would have wished. In exchange for information from Hanxi, the High Priestess of the People of the Last Breath, the woman agreed. But with Hanxi memory lost, the two were bound to travel together, gathering the ritual’s ingredients as fragments of Hanxi's past slowly resurfaced.Along their journey, she uncovered a devastating truth: the woman’s true goal would destroy the very purpose of Hanxi's existence. Hanxi worshipped the connection between the Mothers Life and Death; the balance and harmony of nature’s eternal cycle.But the woman intended to turn the universe the Mothers had created into nothingness."

Welcome to shop.I like to make cute things and turn said cute things into other cute things (like stickers!). Problem is I always want to save them instead of actually using them somewhere. So have fun with that same struggle, it is my gift to you.I also make jewellery, and each piece is one of a kind (heirloom moment?). If you like the style but are thinking of something different, whether in colour or bead shape, I can definitely cook something up to suit your needs!More items are coming as soon as I motivate myself enough to do them. (I promise the day will come).But I have fun little projects in mind (most of them, again, pen and paper related because boy oh boy there are so many things that could make a dungeon master's life easier that just do not exist yet! or maybe I haven't looked hard enough but. oh well.)

I’ve always wanted to share whatever I’m doing with friends, and I’ve always wanted to hear their opinions and find out what they’re up to as well. (You know that feeling when you want to know what it’s like to live inside someone else’s skin? It’s a bit like that. You get to do that now!)Hop on a call with me while I stream as K1-T. I’ll either be gaming, drawing, working on my music, talking about worldbuilding (pen and paper, or about the one my girlfriend and i wrote), or just hanging out.

K1-T is an android created by the CRYO Entertainment division.
